Crystal Kikel

Supple List:

  • 4 Clear Wine Bottles
  • Raffia
  • Acrylic Paint – Black, White, and Orange
  • Twine
  • Burlap Cut into 4 – 6x4 inch squares
  • Paint Brushes of different sizes
  • Fall Leaves
  • Small Sunflowers – Yellow and White
  • 2 Fall Berry Pick – 1 Green & Brown and 1 Red & Orange

Step 1:

Fill each wine bottle with raffia. Wrap 1 piece of burlap around the neck of the bottle to make the hat. Tie into place until you can glue gun.  Flip the bottom of the burlap to make a lip in the hat.

Step 2:

Place 1 leaf, sunflower and one small piece of fall berries, into the lip of the hat. After you have them all laid out glue gun the hat into place and then glue gun the rest.

Step 3:

To make the faces for the scarecrows, use a marker to outline the face. I suggest Googling or Pinterest scarecrow faces to get ideas. Paint the outline of the face, then fill in the face. You will need to put 2 coats of paint on. Let dry and enjoy.
