What is your clients first impression?

Your very first meeting with a new client is basically the most important. This is where they make up their mind about your work and how perhaps they might be able to collaborate with you. Should you meet in a coffee shop or spend the same amount on a conference room, where WIFI and refreshments are included? A coffee shop does provide a neutral ground with obvious amenities, but what it lacks is privacy and professionalism that a conference room offers.

What kinds of meetings shouldn’t you arrange in a coffee shop?

  • A meeting that includes more than three or four people
  • A meeting requiring a whiteboard or video presentation
  • A meeting that may run longer than an hour
  • A meeting discussing financials
Here are some of the key reasons why you need to change your approach to your meetings and leave the coffee shops... Unpredictable, Slow and Touchy Wi-Fi; Too Many Distractions and lack of Enough Space.

In conclusion, a professional conference room gives the right impression to your clients. Holding a meeting in a coffee shop or even a restaurant gives you and your clients an opportunity to come out of the office but the perceived risks of unpredictable people or crowds, touchy Wi-Fi, verbal and non-verbal miscommunications. Do you want to risk losing out on business just because that coffee shop you went to was loudly playing music and your new client had a hard time hearing you?

Supplies: 1 Large Foam Pumpkin Orange Rope Clear Glass Gem Filler Knife Glue Gun Instructions: Mark the top of the pumpkin using the vase. Cut into the pumpkin and remove some of the filling. Cut as deep as you think you want your vase to fit into the pumpkin. Wrap the rope around the vase about a third of the way up, glue gun into please. Fill the vase half the way up with the gem filler. Place silverware in the vase and enjoy.
