Profit Producer Minute with Jeff Kikel: 7 Deadly Sins of Entrepreneurs Part 2

Hey everybody! It’s Jeff here once again with your Profit Producers Minute and today we're going to talk about the second of the Seven Deadly Sins of Entrepreneurship: Overthinking. Stop overthinking the products that you have.

The Problem with Old School Business Strategies:

When I went to business school we were taught you create a product, then you bring it to market, and you market the heck out of it and advertise the heck out of and you see if people will actually buy your product. Well guess what? That only works if you're a gigantic monster million dollar, billion dollar business. It does not work if you're a small tiny entrepreneurial business.

Adopting a New Strategy

We have to think differently. What we need to do is go out and find a tribe of people who think like we do. We ask them what their problems are and then we create products that solve those people's problems and then we sell them solutions. As a result, we build a loyal clientele that are in love with our products because they’ve helped contribute to what you built.

People spend way too much time today overthinking what they're doing. You need to stop that and find your tribe -- ask them what they want and build it

That's your Profit Producers Minute
