When McDonald's wouldn’t hire him as a high school student, John Russell decided to begin his journey as an entrepreneur instead. Russell made $19,000 doing yard work during his senior year. His business continued to grow exponentially. Eventually he used his success and knowledge to transition into coaching other entrepreneurs.  John learned that every type of business has the same fundamental challenges and works to turn their problems into opportunities.
Russell’s advice to new entrepreneurs is to have absolute clarity as to what your objectives are. Is there a marketplace? Who are your competitors? 3. He recommends reading Built to sell by John Warrillow and The E Myth by Michael Gerber.
