Supplies List:


  • 12 Wooden Dowels 12 inches
  • Craft paint Blue
  • Foam paint brush
  • Ribbon (Red, White & Blue) you will need about 24 yards which should be about 4 spools each.
  • Glue gun/glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Ruler

Step 1:


Paint ¾ of the stick blue, let dry in a box with holes in the bottom or a jar standing upright. While the paint is drying cut the ribbons into 20-inch strips, set aside.

Step 2:


Fold one of the blue ribbons in half and loop around the end of the dowel that is not painted blue. Repeat a total of 3 blue ribbons, then alternate from red to white for a total of 3 times. Glue gun the ribbon to the dowels. Let dry and have fun with the kids.

Supplies: 1 Large Foam Pumpkin Orange Rope Clear Glass Gem Filler Knife Glue Gun Instructions: Mark the top of the pumpkin using the vase. Cut into the pumpkin and remove some of the filling. Cut as deep as you think you want your vase to fit into the pumpkin. Wrap the rope around the vase about a third of the way up, glue gun into please. Fill the vase half the way up with the gem filler. Place silverware in the vase and enjoy.
