During his entire entrepreneurial journey, Terry Grier has only had three jobs. Although he learned key values while working at staffing company and UPS, Terry is currently more successful than ever under Strive Insurance. Terry says that he is glad that he did not know how hard it would be to become an entrepreneur. If he’d been aware of all the difficulties he’d face before becoming a commercial insurance agent, he may have never chosen to pursue it!
Grier advises all new entrepreneurs to engage an insurance agent when they are first writing out their scope of business. Discussing what you’re planning on doing will help to make sure that your business is insurable. He does this and more by asking about clients’ stories and listening for potential risks. Terry hopes to reach and assist more new entrepreneurs by deploying more video on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.
Fast Five:
  1. If Terry Grier woke up one morning without his business, he’d be sure to get back into insurance as fast as possible, With the money he has, he would invest in facebook marketing.
  2. Terry claims that his biggest entrepreneurial mistake was not understanding how precious time is, “Cash flow is oxygen to a business,” Grier explains. He suggests to first start making things happen and get transactions going.
